H. Upmann Half Coronas 12-2-17, Small cigar. First thought, quick disaster or quick enjoyment. It was the latter. Firm not tight with good pre-draw. I cut the cap slightly over. Lights even and very smooth from start with hints of cream, light cocoa and sugar. Halfway, dried fruitiness kicked in. Perfect to 3/4+ then got a little on the hot side with peppery burst. 4.8 out of 5 on balance and 4.5 out of 5 over all. Not a fan of the peppery finish., or any peppery taste. Thirty minute smoke. Word of advice.. don’t rush it. Best so far from samplers. 2 boxes on the way!!
